Shakuntala

Shakuntala Barange, 20, a resident of Wardha, developed a handicap where she could not use both her hands for any work. She initially helped her parents at their shop in Wardha, and in 2003 she moved to Anandwan. Shakuntala performs all her activities ranging from eating, washing, painting greeting cards with her feet. She works in the greeting card making section and earns Rs 200 per month.
