Nimdari—a calm and serene habitat
Nimdari village is eight kilometres away from Junnar city of Pune district. Nature has blessed this village with captivating array of hills, beautiful flora and verdure fields. The calm and beautiful Meena river and the reflection of birds, peacocks and the temple of Goddess Renuka make Nimdari a place that brings you closer to the nature in its pure form.
Looking at these things makes one feel as if one has entered a dream world. Vikas wadi, Piraachi wadi, Dhondkar wadi, Tukaram wadi, and small units make Nimdari a village of three thousand five hundred people. Going inside eight kilometres one comes across Shivneri, the birthplace of great maratha King Shivaji. There are two temples of the total eight temples of Lord Ganesha. Nimadari also has the famous Khandoba temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva).
