Uttan

Uttan is a coastal town just north of Mumbai in Thane district of Maharashtra. The area is famous its luscious beach, and fresh fish stock. It is visited by city-goers over the weekend. It is also famous for its lighthouse. The area has a significant East Indian Catholic population. Uttan is also famous for its church named Our Lady of Sea. It is known for its delicious sea food, quiet locales and sparsely populated areas. It has large population of Koli community.
